Healthy Recipe: Celery-Sage Dressing

Part of looking and feeling beautiful involves healthy eating. Having fruits, vegetables, some lean meats and healthy carbs are all that will contribute to helping you reach your beauty goals. If you like eating dressing, below is a recipe of dressing that’s good tasting and healthy for you.

To cook this meal, first off you’ll need the following ingredients to get started:

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 3 med sweet apples cubed
  • 1/2 med onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tsp rubbed sage
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread, cut into 1/2 cubes
  • 3/4 cup apple juice
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

Here are the cooking instructions in order to get everything in motion:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
  • Coat a 2 quart baking dish with cooking spray
  • Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in frying pan over medium heat
  • Add the apples, celery onions, sage, salt and pepper. Cover and cook for 10 minutes
  • Add the remaining ingredients put into dish, and put in one tablespoon of butter
  • Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Then uncover and bake for an additional 20 minutes

After baking, let it set and cool down for about 5-10 minutes, then serve and enjoy. This dish has four servings.
